Sue Metcalf has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Sue began their career in 2002 as a Child And Family Therapist at Centacare. Sue then worked as a Child safety officer and later as a caseworker youth justice and suspected child abuse and neglect team coordinator at the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services. Sue also served as a Statewide SCAN System Coordinator at the same department.
In 2010, Sue joined the Department of Juvenile Justice as a Senior Service Support Specialist and later became a Senior project support officer at the Department of Justice & Attorney General, Public Prosecutors Office.
From 2013 to 2015, they contributed as a Writer for RX Muscle, focusing on articles related to strongwoman and powerlifting.
Sue's experience in program coordination and development continued with their role as a Senior Program Coordinator at Life by Design Inc from 2014 to 2018.
Sue then took on the position of Director at Partnership Resources, Inc., where they oversaw the Day Training and Habilitation Program. Sue later transitioned to become a Quality Assurance Coordinator, supporting continuous quality improvement for the agency's programs.
Most recently, Sue has been involved in the disability services industry, serving as a Workforce Development Specialist at Life by Design, Inc. and subsequently as Manager of compliance and operations.
In addition to their professional work, they have pursued their passion for writing as an Author for Ladylikeasf starting in 2021. Overall, Sue Metcalf has demonstrated a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities and a breadth of expertise in different fields.
Sue Metcalf completed their Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science at Adelaide University from 1992 to 1994. Sue then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences at James Cook University from 1996 to 1999. In 2013, Sue enrolled in CQUniversity and obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Project Management, which they completed in 2017. Currently, Sue is working towards an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management at the University of the People.
