Florian Koestner

Florian Koestner has a strong background in sales, business development, and management, with experience in various industries. Florian started their career as a Strategy Consultant at Intermatrix Ltd from 1996 to 1999. Florian then worked as a Key Account Manager at BT Global Services from 1999 to 2002, managing global accounts and generating revenue. After that, they served as a Key Account Manager at Tempos 21, a company owned by Telefonica, HP, and Ericsson, from 2002 to 2004.

From 2004 to 2008, Florian worked at Vodafone Group as a Sales Manager, leading a team of key account executives and achieving sales targets. Florian also made significant contributions in IP telephony, VPN, and data center services, and successfully developed the indirect sales channel.

In 2008, Florian joined Teytel S.L. as the Sales & Business Development Director, where they focused on diversifying the customer base and expanding into new markets. Florian successfully secured accounts such as NSN, Huawei, Vodafone, and Orange, increasing revenue from non-Telefonica customers.

Florian's next role was at Ricoh España (IT Services) from 2010 to 2014. Initially, they served as the Director of Major Accounts in Barcelona, leading a team of 20 Key Account Managers and overseeing the transition from transactional sales to consultative sales. Florian also led a bid team that secured a 33 million euro contract. Later, they became the Director of IT Services in the Healthcare Sector, where they developed a differentiated value proposition and closed innovative deals with various healthcare organizations.

Since 2015, Florian has been with Life Fitness, where they have held various leadership positions. Florian started as the Country Manager for Spain and Portugal, and then became the Managing Director of Iberia and Global Accounts EMEA. In 2019, they were promoted to the position of Managing Director of Europe Direct. Currently, they hold the title of Vice President & Managing Director EMEA at Life Fitness.

Florian Koestner obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Business Administration from the European Business School London in 1996. In 2008, they completed an Executive MBA in Business Administration at Esade. In 2016, they pursued a program called Future Leaders in Administración y gestión de empresas at IESE Business School.
