Hassene Bouraoui

Hassene Bouraoui has over a decade of work experience in various roles related to software development, quality assurance, and agile management. Their most recent position was at Life House, where they served as a Senior Scrum Master and Agile Manager. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Agile Scrum Consultant at the National Bank of Canada and as a Senior Agile Consultant at Intact. Hassene has also held roles such as Senior Consultant at dormakaba, Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Kronos, and Scrum Master at PTC. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Software Quality Coordinator and Scrum Master at Vestec, Inc, a Software Engineer at Nexio, and a Software Consultant - Business Analyst at The Co-operators. Hassene holds expertise in agile methodology, software testing, and project management.

Hassene Bouraoui, PSM has a diverse educational background. Hassene holds a Master's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Machine Learning, Speech Recognition Systems) from the University of Waterloo, which they completed from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences from Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Carthage ENICarthage between 2004 and 2008.

Furthermore, Hassene Bouraoui has pursued additional certifications to enhance their skillset. In 2014, they earned a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Toronto. Moreover, they have obtained the certifications of Professional Scrum Product Owner and Professional Scrum Master from Scrum.org in May 2020 and February 2019, respectively.
