Sophie Maryam

Sophie Maryam is an experienced professional with a diverse background in both legal practice and media. Currently serving as a Podcast Host for Life Unpotted since May 2022, Sophie explores themes of mindfulness, self-growth, and wellness. Previously, as a Commercial Real Estate Associate at Windels Marx Lane & Mittendorf, LLP from December 2020 to May 2023, Sophie represented financing institutions in complex commercial property transactions. Prior to that, as an Associate at Ganfer Shore Leeds & Zauderer LLP, Sophie assisted in buying, selling, and refinancing real estate. Academic contributions include a Teaching Assistant role in Lawyering & Legal Writing at Cardozo School of Law and involvement as a Legal Intern at Bet Tzedek Legal Services and the Attorney General of New York.
