Michael Gao

Michael Gao is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data engineering and business intelligence. Currently serving as a Senior Data Engineer at Life360 since March 2023, Michael previously held the position of Data Engineer at Tile from June 2021 to March 2023, where significant contributions included engineering big data pipelines that processed billions of records daily. Prior roles include BI Developer/Data Engineer at Canfor, focusing on dashboard creation and reporting in OBIEE and PowerBI, and Business Intelligence Analyst at Braber Equipment Ltd, where Michael developed reports and conducted data analysis. Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and a Minor in Computing Science from Simon Fraser University, completed between 2011 and 2016.
