William Lockie has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as a Cabin Counsellor at North Star Camp for Boys in 2008. William then went on to complete various roles in marketing and business development. In 2012, they worked as a Marketing Intern at TOMeTTe, followed by roles in the Velocity entrepreneurship program at the University of Auckland. Lockie also worked as a Marketing Business Graduate at Fonterra from 2014 to 2015. William then joined Woop in 2015, where they initially served as a Marketing Manager and eventually became the General Manager/COO. Lockie further gained experience as the Head of Marketing at Woop and later as the VP of Marketing at Perlego, an edtech startup. Currently, their most recent role is as the Director of Marketing, International at Life360.
William Lockie completed their education with a High School degree from King's College in 2007. William then pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Marketing and Management from The University of Auckland from 2009 to 2012. In 2013, they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Commerce (GradDipCom) with a specialization in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the same institution. Additionally, William took a short course in Managing People at The University of Auckland's Graduate School of Management in 2012.
