Anastasios Siapos

Anastasios Siapos has held various roles in the data science field over the past seven years. In 2021, they are currently working as a Senior Data Scientist for Lifebit, where they are responsible for the implementation of data models and led the effort for the company to achieve the EHDEN certification for standardisation of health data from various formats to the OMOP Common Data Model. In 2020, they served their 9 month compulsory military service as a Marine Mortarman in the Hellenic Army / Special Forces, and was promoted to Lance Corporal for their outstanding leadership and performance. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Data Scientist for IQVIA, where they used R/Python and SQL to perform real world evidence studies. In 2018, they worked as a Research Engineer in data science as part of the engineering doctorate program at the University of Brighton. Their responsibilities included applying new technologies and methods in the areas of data science and analytics, and restructuring large data sets. In 2014, they held an Engineering Placement with Thekat ATE Construction Company.

Anastasios Siapos completed a Master of Science in Mathematical Finance from Loughborough University between 2016 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Dipl.-Eng in Civil Engineering from the University of Thessaly between 2008 and 2016. Additionally, Anastasios Siapos holds certifications from Cambridge English Language Assessment, IELTS Official, Goethe-Institut e.V., and Scrum Inc. These certifications were obtained in 2016, 2016, 2014, and 2019, respectively.
