Jason Belsey, MBA

Jason Belsey, MBA, has over 15 years of experience in finance and operations. Jason is currently the Corporate Controller at LifeBooster, where they are responsible for establishing scalable accounting and finance systems for the technology start-up. Prior to this, they were the Senior Accountant at Launchtrip, where they directed the accounting and finance function in preparation for a public offering. Jason also served as the Director of Finance and Administration at Mike's Computer Shop and Accountant at Skidmore Group, where they handled financial control functions.

Before that, Jason worked as a Senior Accountant at Nutrabolics Inc., where they performed full-cycle accounting functions and oversaw HR and IT infrastructure. Jason also gained experience in teaching and marketing as a Teaching Assistant at Ted Rogers School of Management and a Marketing Specialist at Colligo, respectively.

Additionally, Jason has held management positions in operations at Blu Bathworks and GLENTEL Inc. At Blu Bathworks, they directed all aspects of the supply chain and managed international logistics. As the Director of Operations at GLENTEL Inc., they oversaw operations and led the expansion of the Apple Specialist retail store chain.

Prior to this, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Management of Technology and Innovation from the Ted Rogers MBA program at Toronto Metropolitan University in 2018. Jason also holds a Diploma in Accounting/CPA PREP Program from the UBC Sauder School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Management & Accounting from Thompson Rivers University. Jason has also completed three years towards a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from Simon Fraser University.

Jason is Excel Skills for Business Specialization certified from Macquarie University, QuickBooks Desktop Certified ProAdvisor from Intuit Accountants, QuickBooks Online Core Certified ProAdvisor from Intuit Accountants, Certified Six Sigma Yellow Belt (CSSYB) from the ASQ - World Headquarters, and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute.
