Will Thomas, MSc has a diverse work experience in the field of ergonomics and occupational health and safety. Will started their career as a Kinesiologist at CBI Health Group in 2014, where they developed and delivered exercise programs for clients in occupational rehab. Will then worked as an Ergonomics Specialist at LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services, where they co-designed workbenches and conducted ergonomic assessments to minimize the risk of musculoskeletal injuries.

In 2015, Will joined Arc'teryx Equipment as an Ergonomics Specialist, conducting detailed ergonomic assessments and developing presentations on mitigation strategies. Will also worked at SFU Recreation as a Senior Manager, overseeing promotional events and intramural sports leagues.

From 2016 to 2021, Will held multiple roles at PepsiCo. As an Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator, they delivered EHS trainings and created resources. Will then became a Health and Safety Program Specialist and Ergonomics Lead, responsible for the strategic planning and development of ergonomic programming across multiple facilities. Finally, they served as an EHS Associate Manager, managing the development and deployment of ergonomic programming across warehouse facilities and manufacturing plants.

Currently, Will works at LifeBooster as a Lead Ergonomist and Program Manager. Will is responsible for leading the design and implementation of ergonomic programs utilizing risk insights. Will also provides risk consultations and support in program development, as well as digitizing ergonomic assessments into a digital platform.

Will Thomas, MSc has a strong educational background in ergonomics and human factors. Will completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Kinesiology & Occupational Ergonomics from Simon Fraser University, where they also obtained additional certifications in Health and Fitness Studies, Occupational Ergonomics, and O-Scale and Kin-Scale Anthropometric Assessment Systems.

Building on their undergraduate studies, Will pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Ergonomics & Human Factors from the University of Derby. Will has also obtained additional postgraduate certificates and diplomas in Ergonomics & Human Factors from the same institution.
