Derek Lane

Derek Lane currently serves as the AVP of Litigation & Risk Management at LifeCare Assurance Company since June 2020, having previously held the position of Director of Litigation & DOI Complaints within the same organization. Prior to this role, Derek was General Counsel at Dycora Transitional Health & Living from January 2018 to June 2020 and served as Senior Legal Counsel at Rockport Healthcare Services from July 2011 to December 2017. Earlier in Derek's career, a position was held as Law Clerk/Judge Pro Tem at Tippecanoe County Circuit Court from November 2010 to March 2011. Derek Lane earned a J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law (2007-2010) and a B.S. in Management from Purdue University (2003-2007).
