Calvin H.

Calvin H. has extensive experience in the field of information technology. Calvin is currently the Director of Technology Initiatives and User Experience at LifeLong Medical Care, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Information Technology at Tiburcio Vásquez Health Center, Inc. from October 2018 to May 2023.

From 2007 to 2018, Calvin worked at Indian Health Center of Santa Clara Valley as the Director of Information Technology. During this time, they achieved various accomplishments such as implementing digital circuits to reduce telecommunication costs and deploying a redundancy network for multiple sites. Calvin also received certifications in Green Belt Lean for Healthcare and HIPAA Privacy and Security Expert. Calvin successfully managed the transition of two newly acquired health clinics and implemented a cloud-based Electronic Health Record system.

Before joining Indian Health Center of Santa Clara Valley, Calvin worked as a Webmaster at Monte Jade Science and Technologies Association for a year and as the Director of Information Technology Service at Computer Pro for a short period in 2007. Prior to that, they worked as an IT Consultant/Project Manager at Baywell Technologies from 2005 to 2007 and as an Information Technology Manager at Lightwaves2020 Inc from 2003 to 2005.

Calvin's early career includes a role as a Computer Lab Assistant at San Jose State University from 2002 to 2003.

Calvin H. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University between 1997 and 2003. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including the CPCA HealthManagement+ Program from the California Primary Care Association in 2019, the Certification for HIPAA Privacy and Security Expert from HIPAA Training in 2017, and the Green Belt Lean Certification for Healthcare from CareOregon in 2017.
