Eren Soyak

Eren Soyak is the Co-Founder and CEO of Lifemote. Eren was previously the Co-Founder of LifeMote Technologies and the Director of Technology Research at AirTies Wireless Networks. Eren has also worked as the Video Core Technologies Lead Developer at Ingenient Technologies and as an Intern at Nortel Networks.

Eren Soyak has a long history of working in the technology field. Eren started their career as an intern at Nortel Networks in 2001. Eren then went on to work as the Video Core Technologies Lead Developer at Ingenient Technologies from 2003 to 2009. In this role, they were responsible for leading the development of real-time embedded video compression software for smart video phones, digital TV systems, Digital Video Recorders, military and surveillance applications. Eren also designed and led multi-year product and technology development projects, and helped manage offshore algorithm development teams.

In 2011, Eren Soyak became the Director of Technology Research at AirTies Wireless Networks. In this role, they were responsible for state of the art technology research to keep the company abreast of international video compression standardization and academic research. Eren also participated in product feature development and management team initiatives for improving efficiency of development operations.

In 2015, Eren Soyak co-founded LifeMote Technologies. The company developed a technology that allows people with disabilities to control their environment and devices using only their thoughts. After a year of operation, the company was acquired by Lifemote in 2016.

Eren Soyak is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of Lifemote. Under their leadership, Lifemote is continuing to develop new technologies that improve the lives of people with disabilities.

Eren Soyak received their PhD in Electrical Engineering - Video Processing from Northwestern University. Eren also has a MS in Electrical Engineering - Video Processing from Northwestern University and a BS in Electrical Engineering and Comparative Literature from Northwestern University. Eren also has a Diploma in Science from Robert College.
