Vincent Durewski

Vincent Durewski has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Vincent is currently a Software Engineer at Lifen, starting in October 2022. Prior to this, Vincent worked as a Ruby on Rails Developer at Shopmium, a Quotient brand, from May 2018 to September 2022. In this role, they were responsible for building new features, improving code quality, monitoring performance, and enhancing user experience for different products such as REST APIs, WebApp, Backoffice tools, and ETL.

Additionally, Vincent worked as a Teacher at The_Hacking_Project from February 2018 to December 2018, where they taught Git & GitHub workshops to students.

Before that, they held a Ruby on Rails Developer position at ZikMe from February 2018 to April 2018, where they gained experience in collaborating with other developers on a production application.

Prior to their software development roles, Vincent co-founded Happolo in 2017 and worked as an Ingénieur Energie Exploitation Environnement at Artelia from February 2015 to December 2016.

Furthermore, they worked as a Chargé d'étude at ARP-ASTRANCE in 2014 and as a Conducteur de travaux at GCC Construction / Energie in 2013, where they managed construction projects and monitored quality standards.

In 2017, Vincent attended The_Hacking_Project and completed a coding bootcamp in Full-Stack Web Development.

In 2019, they enrolled in Join Lion, an entrepreneurial school operated by The Family, where they pursued studies in the field of entrepreneurship.

In the same year, 2017, Vincent also participated in the Startup School Online, a program offered by Y Combinator. This program consisted of ten weeks of online courses and office hours designed for startup founders.

Prior to these experiences, Vincent obtained a degree in Engineering with a specialization in Sustainable Buildings and Cities from Ecole spéciale des Travaux publics, du Bâtiment et de l'Industrie. Vincent attended this school from 2011 to 2014.

In terms of additional certifications, Vincent obtained the "Advanced SQL for Query Tuning and Performance Optimization" certification from LinkedIn in December 2020. Vincent also earned the Startup School Online certification from Y Combinator in June 2017.
