Rhys Robinson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2011, Rhys served as an Infantry Soldier in the Canadian Armed Forces until 2013. Following this, Rhys worked at Blue Ocean Contact Centers as a Logistics and Order Management professional, where they handled order management, logistics, and assisted with delivering critical parts infrastructure from 2016 to 2017.
In 2017, Rhys joined Dalhousie University as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant. In these roles, Rhys assisted professors with grading assignments, held office hours, and provided support to students with coursework and effective writing strategies.
The following year, Rhys served as a Student Intern with the Government of Nova Scotia. During this time, they conducted literature and jurisdictional reviews for the NS Department of Environment. Rhys primarily worked with the Quality, Safety, and Training branch while also assisting the Policy and Planning branch.
In 2018, Rhys became a Research Assistant and Editor at St. Francis Xavier University. Rhys fulfilled this role until 2019, contributing to research projects and providing editorial support.
From 2019 to 2021, Rhys worked at Splunk as a Customer Success Manager. In this position, they collaborated with customers to establish success plans, monitored their achievement of key performance indicators, and developed education and staffing plans for their Splunk environment.
Most recently, Rhys joined Navigator - Powered By LifeRaft in 2021. They started as a Client Success Manager, responsible for onboarding and training clients on the Navigator platform, advocating for clients' concerns, acting as a point of contact for platform issues, and educating clients on best practices. Rhys then advanced to the role of Senior Client Success Manager, where they continued to serve as a point of contact for clients, identified upsell opportunities, and took the lead on platform trials.
Throughout their career, Rhys has demonstrated strong client management and organizational skills, as well as a commitment to research, education, and customer success.
Rhys Robinson completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and International Development Studies from Saint Mary's University, which they attended from 2012 to 2016. In addition, they earned a certificate in International Chinese Studies from Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai in 2015. Rhys then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Political Science at Dalhousie University from 2017 to 2021.
