Chief Solutions Architect at Liferay

Alexander Sanchez Niño has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Alexander started their career as a Software Developer in the public sector at the Instituto distrital de la participación y acción comunal idpac from March 2009 to June 2010. Following that, they worked at Softtek Colombia as a Senior Software Developer, specializing in projects for 3M Colombia and the National Federation of Coffee, from October 2010 to October 2011.

Next, Alexander joined DataiFX as a Project Leader, Architect, and software developer, where they led a fix implementation project and established communications with various subsidiaries from October 2011 to July 2013. Alexander then briefly worked as a Technical Lead at Stefanini in July 2013.

From September 2013 to October 2014, Alexander worked at GoNet USA as a Project Lead, responsible for selling and providing technical assistance for Liferay Portal.

In January 2015, Alexander joined Liferay, Inc as a Sales Engineer Latam. In this role, they helped the commercial area to sell Liferay products, gathered and understood customer business requirements, and answered technical questions from prospective clients. Alexander later transitioned to the position of Chief Solutions Architect in January 2018 at Liferay, Inc.
