Patrick van Blarcum

Patrick van Blarcum has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Patrick started their career in 2000 at Siebel Systems, where they worked as a Senior Consultant and later as a Principal Sales Consultant for CRM in the EMEA region. In 2006, they joined Oracle and held various leadership roles, including Presales Centre Leader for CRM in EMEA, Director of Solutions Engineering for ERP at the EMEA Hub, and Director of Solutions Engineering for Cloud Technology at the EMEA & APAC Hub. Patrick also served as the Director of Solutions Engineering for SaaS in Strategic Deal Pursuits. Currently, they are employed at Liferay as a Digital Enterprise Enabler and the Strategic Deal Pursuits Lead for EMEA.

Patrick van Blarcum has a diverse education history. Patrick holds a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Telematics, which encompassed Computer Science and Electronics, from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.

In terms of additional certifications, Patrick has obtained several notable credentials. Patrick holds a Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge v.4 from the Cloud Security Alliance, which was obtained in October 2022. Furthermore, they have obtained certifications in various fields, including Generative AI, Cybersecurity, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) from reputable institutions such as Microsoft, Google, and LinkedIn. Most recently, they have pursued further education at Trailhead by Salesforce, focusing on CRM, Data Cloud, and AI.
