John Policano has extensive work experience in web development, design, and interactive art direction. John is currently the Director Of Web Development at LifeSci Communications since July 2020. Prior to this, John owned Blue Collar Design, where they worked as the Lead Designer and Developer starting from August 2018. Before starting their own business, they worked as a Freelance Interactive Art Director and Web Designer from January 2009 to August 2018, offering a wide range of skills to clients.
Additionally, John served as an Adjunct Professor at Anthem Education Group from August 2010 to August 2012, teaching courses on Dreamweaver, HTML, Flash, and ActionScript. John has also freelanced at Revolution Digital from 2011 to 2012.
Earlier in their career, John worked as a Senior Interactive Art Director at Broadleaf Creative Group from August 2006 to January 2009, where they played a major role in taking projects from creative brief to launch and collaborated closely with the IT team. Prior to that, they were an Associate Creative Director at Arnold Worldwide from August 2000 to August 2006, where they developed internet ad campaigns and websites for various clients, including Royal Caribbean, ESPN, Tyson, and Hershey's.
John's earliest work experience was as a Designer/Animator for Web and TV at National Video Center from 1996 to 2000. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated their ability to take projects from concept to execution and has a strong track record of creating impactful and successful digital campaigns.
John Policano earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communication, General from Seton Hall University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Additionally, they obtained a certification in DoubleClick QA from DoubleClick in December 2015.
