Michael Sossong

Michael Sossong has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and research. Michael is currently serving as the Chief Scientist at LifeVoxel.AI, where they are responsible for advancing and expanding the company's research and development programs. Prior to this, Michael was the President and CEO of Inventive Physics Lab, a role they held since 2010. Before that, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer at Decision Sciences Corporation, leading various projects related to homeland security applications. Michael also served as a Technical Staff Member at Los Alamos National Laboratory and a Research Associate at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, specializing in nuclear physics research.

Michael Sossong has an extensive education history in the field of physics. Michael earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1998. Michael then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) degree in Nuclear Physics from the same institution, graduating in 2002. Following this, Michael continued their studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completing their Ph.D. in Physics in 2005.
