Alton Braxton

Alton Braxton is an experienced accounting professional with a diverse background in grant and collections accounting, as well as tax preparation and eligibility assistance. Currently serving as a Grant Accountant at LifeWorks Austin since August 2021, Alton previously held roles as a Collections Accountant at Social Solutions and as an HAAM Eligibility Specialist at Foundation Communities, where responsibilities included intake assistance and maintaining knowledge of health services. Additionally, Alton worked as a Volunteer Tax Preparer, gaining certification in tax preparation, and as an Executive Intern at the Austin Film Festival, where research and organizational skills were applied to grant documentation. Alton holds a degree from The University of Texas at Austin and completed the International Baccalaureate program.
