Masood Mehmood

Masood Mehmood has a strong work experience in the field of engineering and technology. Masood is currently working as a Senior Engineering Manager at Liftoff Mobile since October 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Sr. Engineering Manager at Vungle from January 2020 to October 2022.

In terms of leadership roles, Masood worked at Balbix as the Director of Technology from March 2019 to August 2019. During this time, they led the technical direction of the product and worked closely with customers, product owners, and engineering teams to deliver successful projects. Masood also served as the Tech Lead at Balbix from June 2016 to March 2019, where they led teams responsible for embedded appliance software and hardware, vulnerability discovery, and endpoint application development.

Before joining Balbix, Masood worked at FireEye, Inc. for several years in various roles. From June 2013 to May 2016, they served as a Principal Engineer, leading the design and implementation of FireEye's datapath packet framework and DPI component. Prior to that, they were a Staff Software Engineer at FireEye from November 2009 to June 2013, where they contributed to the design and implementation of core data path products and invented several network projects.

Masood also has experience working at PalmChip as a Principal Software Engineer from March 2007 to October 2009. Their responsibilities included maintaining and developing protocol dissectors and working on initial detections projects. Masood started their career at Axvoice, Inc. as a Software Engineer in July 2006, where they developed Asterisk components and enhanced the system to support required use cases. Masood also worked at Naseeb Networks, Inc. as a Software Engineer from July 2005 to December 2006, where they worked on DNS agents and web monitoring applications.

In addition, Masood had a part-time role as a Linux System Engineer at Affordable Programmers Dot Com from January 2006 to July 2006. Masood managed over 40 Linux servers remotely, handling tasks such as monitoring, backup, and web management.

Overall, Masood Mehmood has extensive experience in engineering management, technical leadership, and software development, with a focus on network security and infrastructure.

From 2002 to 2004, Masood Mehmood attended the Sarhad University of Science and Information Technology. Here, they pursued a Masters in IT, specializing in Network and Operating System.
