Praveena Gummadam (she/her)

Praveena Gummadam has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Praveena started their career as a Teaching Assistant at Northern Illinois University, where they assisted in teaching the Introduction to Psychology course. Praveena then worked as a Research Assistant at the same university, managing a team and conducting data collection and analysis for a college transition study. After that, they joined Aptude Inc. as a Human Resources Generalist and Recruiter, responsible for recruitment and general HR duties.

In 2012, Praveena joined Rimini Street as a Human Resources Coordinator, where they played a crucial role in managing the company's rapid growth and implementing various HR processes. Praveena led the onboarding and offboarding procedures, coordinated with HR counterparts around the world to ensure compliance with local employment laws, managed employee data and employment changes, and conducted recruitment efforts using Taleo. Praveena also played a key role in migrating the company's HRIS system and served as the primary contact for HR, payroll, 401k, and benefits-related queries. Praveena also developed and implemented training programs for employees and led HR reporting and analytics using ADP Workforce Now and Excel.

After their time at Rimini Street, Praveena joined Vocera Communications as a People Coordinator and later became a Sr. People Coordinator. Praveena provided HR support and coordination for the company and its employees.

Currently, Praveena is working at Liftoff Mobile as an Associate Manager, People Operations. Praveena previously served as a People Business Partner and a Human Resources Generalist at the company. Their roles at Liftoff Mobile involve managing people operations and providing HR support.

Praveena Gummadam (she/her) obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Praveena completed their undergraduate studies from 2002 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Northern Illinois University, which they completed between 2007 and 2009.
