Julian Posada has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Julian is currently the President and CEO of LiftUp Enterprises, a position they have held since July 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Enterprise and Operating Officer at TRP and LiftUp Enterprises from December 2016 to July 2020.
From November 2013 to December 2016, Julian worked as the EVP Marketing and Strategy at Wrapports LLC / SunTimes Media / Chicago.com. Before that, they were the President of the Chicago Fire Soccer Club from September 2010 to December 2012.
Julian also has experience in founding and leading their own company. From May 2008 to October 2010, they were the Founder and President of Cafe Media LLC.
In addition, Julian has held various positions at different companies throughout their career. Notably, they were the General Manager at Tribune Company / Hoy Newspaper from February 2003 to May 2008. Julian also served as the Director of Marketing & Sales at HOY Newspaper from January 2004 to April 2005.
Before their venture in the media industry, Julian worked as the Director of Business Development at EthinicGrocer.com / QueRico.com from September 2000 to November 2002. Prior to that, they held the role of AVP Marketing / Colombia S.A. at Citibank from August 1997 to September 1999.
Finally, earlier in their career, Julian worked as the Deputy Director at Public Allies until August 1996.
Julian Posada's education history begins with their high school education at East Lansing High School, where they obtained their High School Diploma from 1982 to 1986. Julian then pursued further education at Michigan State University from 1986 to 1991, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Foodservice Systems Administration/Management. Later on, Julian attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 1995 to 1997, where they obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. During their time at Northwestern, Julian focused their studies on areas such as Management & Strategy, Marketing, and Organization Behavior.
