Pranoy Rao

Pranoy Rao is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in product engineering and management. Currently serving as the Director of Product Engineering at LigaData since September 2024, Pranoy leads an engineering team focused on data products for telecommunications. Previously, Pranoy held senior roles at Upstart as a Senior Engineering Manager, Prodigy Software Inc. as Director of Engineering, and Numerify (now Digital.ai) as Architect DevOps & Quality Engineering. Pranoy's earlier experience includes serving as a Section Manager for Helion CloudSystem at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where a hands-on approach was taken to deliver next-generation cloud computing platforms based on OpenStack. Pranoy earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from Savitribai Phule Pune University between 1998 and 2002.
