Russell Coleman

Russell Coleman has extensive work experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Russell began their career as a Research Scientist at CP Kelco/Monsanto in 1996 and later worked as a Research Specialist at Dow Chemical. Their roles at Pfenex Inc included Senior Scientist and Group Leader in Strain Engineering. Russell then moved to Ligand Pharmaceuticals, where they held positions as Associate Director and Director of Strain Engineering. Currently, they serve as the Director of Strain Engineering at Primrose Bio.

Russell Coleman completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology at San Diego State University in 1997. Russell continued their education at the same institution, earning a Master of Science degree in Biotech Graduate Fellowship with a focus on Molecular Biology from 1999 to 2001.
