Davide Sacchetto

Davide Sacchetto is the Head of R&D at LIGENTEC SA, a position held since August 2017, where responsibilities include coordinating and supervising projects related to new processes. Prior to this role, Davide served as a Senior Nanofabrication Engineer, focusing on silicon nitride photonics chip production and R&D for related products. Earlier experience includes working as an R&D Engineer at CSEM - PV center, focusing on thin-film technologies for photovoltaics and semiconductor devices, and engaging in postdoctoral research on transparent conductive oxides for photovoltaic applications at both CSEM and the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. Davide completed a PhD at the EPFL Microelectronic Systems Laboratory, following multiple Master’s degrees in Micro and Nano Technologies for Integrated Systems and a Bachelor's in Physics Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.
