Daniel Emerson

Daniel Emerson began their career in 1990 as a Product Manager at Raychem. In 2003, they moved to K2 Sports as the General Manager of the Atlas Snowshoe Company, where they were responsible for overseeing development for all 3 K2 snowshoe brands, and moved 2 US factories to China over a 2 year period. In 2007, they became the CEO of Light and Motion, a small business with a high end bike light brand and a high end brand in the underwater imaging space. Daniel specialized in portable high power lighting systems and camera controls for divers, and grew the international business to complement the domestic strength.

Daniel Emerson attended Stanford University from 1989 to 1990, where they earned a Master of Science in MFG Systems Engineering. Daniel then attended Tufts University from 1979 to 1984, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in English.
