Queenie Choi

Queenie Choi has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to 2020. Queenie started their career as a Recreation Camp Counselor at Steve & Kate's in 2011. Queenie then worked as a Barista and later as a Shift Lead at Starbucks from 2011 to 2014. In 2012, they also worked as a Tax Preparer at the Internal Revenue Service.

From 2013 to 2014, Choi worked as a Quality Reviewer at the Internal Revenue Service and as a Clerical Intern/Volunteer at UC Davis Medical Center. Queenie later joined ADR Services, Inc. in 2014 as an Accounting Assistant/Accounts Receivables.

In 2015, Choi began working at JMP Securities LLC as a Staff Accountant, where they processed invoices and ensured compliance with internal controls. Queenie later became a Senior Staff Accountant, training and reviewing Accounts Payable and Receivables.

Choi then joined Science Exchange in 2017 as an Accountant, where they managed documentation for Accounts Payable and Receivable and conducted cash applications. Queenie later became a Senior Accountant, responsible for training and reviewing new hires, preparing payment disbursements, and reconciling bank accounts.

In 2020, Choi worked as an Accounting Consultant at JMP Securities LLC and is currently a Senior Accountant at LTA Research and Exploration.

Throughout their career, Choi has developed skills in accounts payable and receivable, customer service, payment disbursements, bank reconciliation, and financial documentation management.

Queenie Choi has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis. Queenie attended Castro Valley High School prior to their college education. Queenie also participated in the University of California, Davis Study Abroad Program, specifically the Grand Tour, which took their to London, Paris, Mount Blanc, Rome, and Pompeii. In addition to their degrees, Queenie has obtained Basic Tax Income Certifications from the Internal Revenue Service in both 2013 and 2014.
