Erin Verma

Erin Verma is an experienced education leader currently serving as the Director of Secondary Academics at Lighthouse Community Public Schools since July 2021, where significant improvements in student growth have been achieved. Previous roles include Academic Dean at Leadership Public Schools, where Erin transformed the math department and coordinated the Advanced Placement program, and Instructional Coach at San José Unified School District, focusing on enhancing student learning through data-driven coaching cycles. Erin also served as Principal-in-Training at ACE Charter Schools, overseeing the launch of the first high school and leading instructional efforts. Prior experience includes roles as Dean of Curriculum and Mathematics Instructor at YES Prep Public Schools, as well as serving as a Middle School Math Content Specialist for Teach For America. Erin holds a B.A. in Economics from Grinnell College.
