Kevin Blunt

Kevin Blunt, M.Ed, currently serves as the Head Girl Varsity Basketball Coach at Palo Alto High School and as the Behavior Intervention Coordinator at Lighthouse Community Public Schools. Responsibilities at Lighthouse include designing and implementing behavior and social-emotional supports, developing and evaluating behavior intervention plans, leading professional development for staff, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance student engagement and well-being. With a strong background in behavioral support and special education, Kevin previously held positions as the Executive Director of Blunt Concepts and Solutions LLC, where workshops for coaches, parents, and student-athletes were emphasized, and as a Program Coordinator/Behavioral Specialist at various institutions. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Special Education from Fort Hays State University, a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from San Jose State University, and an Associate’s degree in Physical Sciences from Long Beach City College.
