Danny Crane

Danny joined Lightkeeper from Cambridge Associates where he performed operational due diligence on alternative investment managers on behalf of institutional clients; his work focused on a variety of operational elements including accounting, trading, valuation and compliance covering all hedge fund strategies. His research included analysis of firm documents and reporting as well as in person meetings with key operational personnel to assess the adequacy of fund operations.

Prior to joining Cambridge Associates, Danny worked in a fund accounting group at State Street serving mutual fund and hedge fund clients. There, he was involved in processing and reviewing components of fund operations including trading, corporate actions, expense allocations and distributions.

Danny graduated Cum Laude from Boston College majoring in economics and history. Originally from Salem, MA, Danny currently lives in Boston’s North End. Outside of work, he can be found cheering for Boston sports teams, exercising, and playing guitar.
