Mithun Uliyar

Mithun Uliyar is a co-founder of LightMetrics, where they have been working since February 2015. Mithun is responsible for business and product development for LightMetrics' video analytics technology. Prior to that, Mithun was a senior researcher at Nokia from June 2014 to February 2015, working on computational cameras and computer vision. Mithun also worked as a specialist at Nokia from March 2010 to August 2011, developing face detection, eye detection, and face recognition algorithms. Before Nokia, Mithun held positions as a technical lead and senior software engineer at Aricent from May 2006 to March 2010, where they worked on image processing, computer vision algorithms, and video codecs. Mithun also had a role as a DSP engineer at Emuzed (which is currently Aricent) from May 2004 to April 2006. Mithun's career began as a programmer analyst at Mindtree from July 2003 to April 2004.

Mithun Uliyar obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication from the National Institute of Engineering, Mysore, in the years 1999 to 2003. Later, they pursued an MBA in PGSEM from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, from 2009 to 2011.
