Neil Kelly

Neil has been passionate about money systems since 2012, where after 10 years of living as an expat in several African Countries, he observed how the lack of financial services impacted quality of life in the 3rd world countries he had lived in. At that time, Neil had pivoted his mostly telecoms focused career into the world of alternative banking systems called Mobile Money when he joined VISA. After 4yrs and the realisation that the worlds financial problems would not be solved by one of its traditional institutions, it was the step into the world of Bitcoin at Luno in 2017 where he had realised how value exchange could be influenced by such a revolutionary product. Outside of work, Neil is a father of two kids who keep him young through a shared passion for cycling. Although Neil listens to a ton of podcasts, his go to podcasts will always be Tim Ferris and Seth Godin.
