Cornelius Walter is an accomplished impact investor with over 45 seed and angel investments in companies addressing climate change, sustainable food chains, energy efficiency, and real estate analytics, among others, and serves as a Strategic Partner at Lightrock. Prior to this role, Cornelius Walter was a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company, where significant leadership included positions as Risk and Compliance Leader for McKinsey Europe and Managing Partner of both the Central Europe office and Budapest location. Cornelius Walter's earlier career highlights include internships at notable firms and projects in Tanzania and Laos. Cornelius Walter holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management, a PhD in Retail Banking from EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht, and has pursued studies in innovation, entrepreneurship, and international marketing at Universidad de Adolfo Ibanez in Chile.
