Divya Venkat

Divya is a Principal at Lightrock and leads investing in Education/Skilling and supports portfolio companies on their strategic human capital initiatives. She currently serves on the Board of Cuemath. Prior to joining Lightrock, Divya led large distributed teams in scalable and transformative social enterprises. Most recently, Divya led the Global People Management function at New Globe, serving nearly one million students across five countries in Africa & India. Divya started her career as a derivatives lawyer in 2008 with Linklaters LLP, London. An Erasmus Mundus Scholar, Divya graduated from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore (B.A. LL.B (Hons.)) and, is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad.
