Lisa Bird

Lisa Bird is a seasoned professional in human resources with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of People and Culture for North America at Lightspeed Commerce since July 2021, Lisa also holds the titles of Head of People Business Partners for North America and Senior People Business Partner for Mergers and Acquisitions. Prior to this, Lisa was the People Experience Partner (Director) for North America and EMEA at Vend from June 2018 to July 2021, and the Director of Human Resources at Maropost from June 2017 to May 2018. Lisa's career began at Research Now, where roles included Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Director), Human Resources Manager, Human Resources Generalist, and Human Resource Coordinator from October 2010 to June 2017. Lisa holds a degree in Human Resources Management from George Brown College and a BA in History, English, and French from Western University.
