Brian Johnson

Brian Johnson is a technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering and algorithmic trading. As Co-founder and CTO at Lightyear Health since April 2019, Johnson leads technology initiatives. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer at Clover Health and Software Engineer at Yammer, Inc., where automation of infrastructure was a key focus. Johnson also held roles at Microsoft and Chopper Trading, developing low-latency applications for algorithmic trading and managing trading operations. Johnson began career at Allston Trading, contributing to algorithmic trading applications and overseeing the European Trading office. Johnson holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Warwick.
