Christophe Hommet

Christophe Hommet is a highly experienced aerospace engineer with a robust background in flight test management and electrical systems engineering. Currently serving as the Head of Flight Test and Chief Engineer for the Phoenix project at Lilium since November 2022, Christophe previously held key roles at Volocopter GmbH, leading heavy lift cargo drone product development and successfully delivering a full-scale demonstrator within a year. At Airbus Helicopters, from October 1998 to May 2018, Christophe held various positions, including Chief Electrics Engineer for the City Airbus Demonstrator Project, where responsibilities included overseeing the development and integration of the electric system across multifaceted teams and partners. Early career experience includes roles at TEUCHOS for Aerospatiale, focusing on opto-electronic design and systems for space applications. Christophe holds a degree from Centrale Méditerranée, completed in 1995.
