Austin Okogun

Austin Okogun has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Austin began their career as a NYSC Doctor at PHC Faskari in Katsina State, Nigeria, from April 1994 to March 1995. Austin then worked as a Medical Officer at Chrisek Hospital Warri from April 1995 to June 2000. Afterwards, they served as the Chief Executive Officer at Lily Hospitals Limited starting from July 2000. In 2014, Austin became the CEO of Echolily Investment Llc and held the position until December 2020. Austin also served as the Managing Director of Mofmed Medical Solutions Limited from January 2016 onwards. In June 2019, they took on the role of the Managing Director at Bravo Health Limited and became a Member of the Society for West Africa Internal Audit Practitioners' Governing Board in November 2019. Austin joined the Diving Governing Board as a Board Member in November 2020. Austin also served as a Member of the Edo State Governor's Health Advisory Team from March to May 2021. In August 2021, they became a Member of the CMA Healthcare Excellence Award Committee at the Commonwealth Medical Association.

Austin Okogun obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Ibadan between 1986 and 1992. In 2009 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Occupational Medicine at The University of Manchester. Additionally, in 2013, they earned a Level 1 and 2D Certificate in Diving Medicine from the Diving Disease Research Center. Austin also completed a certificate program in Enterprise Management at the Center for Enterprise Management, Pan Atlantic University Lagos in 2008. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Healthcare Management at Jack Welch Management Institute, starting in 2020 and expected to complete in 2023. Austin also completed the Stanford Transformation Program in 2019, specifically the SEED West Africa program. In terms of additional certifications, Austin obtained a certification in Leading Your Team Through Change from LinkedIn in 2022.
