Carlos Acosta

Carlos Acosta currently serves as Central Engineering Manager at Linamar Corporation since December 2022. Prior to this role, Acosta was the Manufacturing Engineering & New Programs Launch Manager at ZF Group from October 2019 to December 2022, where responsibilities included managing SBS Operations Manufacturing Process Engineering at the La Laguna Site and overseeing capital and expense projects. Acosta’s extensive experience at Ford Motor Company spanned from January 1998 to June 2019, achieving significant milestones as Dragon Engine Plant Operations & Launch Manager, where Acosta was instrumental in delivering advanced I-3 Turbocharged Gasoline Engines at a new facility in Chihuahua, Mexico. Acosta holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Florida International University and a degree in Mechanical Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de Chihuahua.
