Darren Robertson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Darren began their career as an HRIS Specialist at Barnabas Health in 2002. Darren then joined Manhattan Theatre Club in 2005, where they served as the Director of Human Resources, overseeing the entire HR function and managing employee relations, benefits, payroll, and compensation. In 2012, Darren held multiple positions including Consulting Director of Human Resources at The David Lynch Foundation and Director of Human Resources and Administration at The Actors Fund. Darren also worked as an Independent HR and Management Consultant at Robertson Consulting during this time. In 2016, Darren joined Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, first as an Associate Director of Labor Relations and later as the Managing Director of Concert Halls, providing strategic direction and overseeing various functional areas. In 2020, they became the Vice President of Performance and Campus Operations, and in 2022, they were promoted to the role of Senior Vice President in the same department. Additionally, Darren has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University since 2018.
Darren Robertson has a Juris Doctor degree with Magna Cum Laude from New York Law School. Darren also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State University. Additionally, they have obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in December 2015, as well as the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in the same month and year.
