Alex Cortez

Alex Cortez has been working in the IT field since 2005. Alex began their career at NETLINK SYSTEMS as an IT Project Manager and IT Administrator. In 2013, they moved to Sorbis as the Director of IT Operations/Project Management. In 2017, they were hired as an IT Service Manager by Proactive Technologies. In 2018, they were hired as an IT Program Manager by Lincoln IT.

Alex Cortez has an education history beginning in 1993 when they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Security Management from John Jay College (CUNY). In 2015, they completed a Certificate of Completion in Project Management from Queens College. Additionally, Alex has obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in November 2022, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in September 2022, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in March 2022, ITIL 2011 Foundation from ITIL Certified in September 2015, Exam 410: Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 from Microsoft in May 2013, Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute in March 2018, Continuum Administration Specialist from Continuum IT Management Platform, Microsoft Certified Professional 2012 from Microsoft, and Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist 2008 from Microsoft.
