Tyler Petersen

Tyler Petersen is a seasoned professional in the electric vehicle and clean transportation sectors, currently serving as Vice President of EV Business Development at Lincoln Electric since March 2024. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Director of Government Strategy & Market Development for Tritium, where Tyler fostered high-value relationships to advance the electric vehicle market. At the Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE), Tyler held multiple leadership positions overseeing clean transportation initiatives, including incentive programs and infrastructure projects, while managing large teams. Tyler also contributed to smart grid applications as a Smart Grid Analyst at QUASAR Federal Systems and engaged in climate change initiatives as a Climate Change and Clean Energy Fellow through a U.S. Department of State program. Tyler's career began with the Peace Corps as a Sustainable Community Development Volunteer. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's of Arts from Colorado Mesa University and a Master's in International Economics and Environmental Policy from UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy.
