Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer currently working at SMART Technologies since July 2010, contributing to the development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices. Prior roles include firmware engineer at the same company, electronics contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, and electronics engineer at Grindcom, where responsibility included circuit design and control systems for the forestry industry. Educational qualifications comprise a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology. Additionally, Chris has teaching experience as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary.
