HeCheng Lin

HeCheng Lin has worked in the tech industry since 2001. HeCheng began their career at Tencent as a Backend Development Engineer, where they were responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's website, implementation of the website, testing, and maintenance and upgrading of the existing website. In 2009, HeCheng joined Linden Lab as a Software Engineer. HeCheng then moved up the ranks to become a Team Lead, Extraction, where they worked with their team to develop golang REST apis that solved the needs of Second Life and Sansar. HeCheng also created a stakeholders meeting to help keep various internal stakeholders apprised of progress and priorities. HeCheng then became an Engineering Manager, helping to launch Tilia, Inc as a business and maintain communication with internal stakeholders. Finally, HeCheng became a Senior Engineering Manager and Metaverse Senior Engineering Manager.

HeCheng Lin obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Science from Xiamen University between 1998 and 2002. HeCheng then went on to pursue a Master of Computer Applications - MCA from Boston University with a major in Mathematics and Computational Finance, which they completed between 2006 and 2009.
