Owen L.

Owen L. began their career at Tencent in 2000 as a Backend Development Engineer, where they were responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's website, implementation of the website, testing, and maintenance and upgrading of the existing website. In 2008, they joined Linden Lab as a Metaverse Senior Engineering Manager, later becoming a Senior Engineering Manager and Team Lead, Extraction. In this role, they worked with their team to develop golang REST apis that solve the needs of Second Life and Sansar, and created a stakeholders meeting to help keep various internal stakeholders apprised of progress and priorities. Owen also held the role of Software Engineer at Linden Lab.

Owen L. began their educational journey at Xiamen University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Science from 1996 to 2000. Owen then continued their studies at Columbia University, where they earned a Master of Computer Applications - MCA, with a major in Mathematics and Computational Finance from 2004 to 2006.
