Naomi Atkin

Naomi Atkin is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in the non-profit and higher education sectors, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Lingen Davies Cancer Fund since July 2016. Under Naomi's leadership, the organization underwent significant cultural and operational transformations, diversified income streams, and achieved a major financial milestone by posting its first £1 million-plus year in 2021/22. Prior to this role, Naomi held the position of Director of Engagement at the University of Birmingham Guild of Students, where responsibilities included overseeing commercial venues and enhancing student engagement. Additionally, Naomi served as a Direction and Oversight Board Member for the National Union of Students (UK) and as Head of Membership Support at the University of Manchester Students' Union, managing a diverse range of student-led activities. Educational credentials include a BA (Hons) in Philosophy and Film Studies from The University of Manchester.
