Sarah Engel has a diverse work experience spanning various fields. Sarah is currently working as an Organizational and Employee Development Trainer at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where they are responsible for implementing DEI and OED initiatives for the Department of Surgery. Sarah creates training content, programs, and opportunities for professional development and collaborates with different committees and departments to further the department's initiatives.

Sarah Engel completed their Master of Arts (MA) in Leadership Development from Regis University between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication Arts and Theater from Indiana University South Bend from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, Sarah has also obtained various certifications. Sarah became a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach in August 2015. Sarah also completed a program called "Make Words Matter" in 2020, focused on Implicit Bias, although no degree was specified for this experience.
