Joana U.

Joana U. began their work experience in 2015 as an English tutor for children at Mairie de Saint-Denis. In 2016, they worked as a Teacher for German as a Foreign Language at Centro Alemán Querétaro. In 2017, they became a freelance trainer for conversational German, grammar, and business German. In 2018, they interned in the Language Department at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Currently, they are working as a Learning Materials Developer at Lingoda GmbH since 2021.

Joana U. pursued their education at the Freie Universität Berlin, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in German Philology from 2013 to 2017. Joana then proceeded to complete a Master of Arts degree in German as a Foreign Language: Cultural Mediation from 2017 to 2019 at the same institution.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Joana also obtained several certifications. In 2022, they achieved the certification of "Zertifizierte Dozentin Deutsch für medizinische Fachkräfte" from telc GmbH - The European Language Certificates. In 2021, they obtained the certification of "Deutsch für qualifizierte Pflegefachkräfte" from the same institution. Furthermore, in 2021, Joana acquired the "Admission to teaching in integration courses" certification from the Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge (BAMF). In 2020, they received the edX Verified Certificate for Foundations for Excellence in Teaching Online from edX. Lastly, in 2020, Joana obtained the telc Examiner Licence German A1-A2 certification from telc GmbH - The European Language Certificates.
