Benjamin Cauthen

Benjamin Cauthen is an experienced language educator specializing in German and English instruction, with a focus on conversation, business English, and intercultural skills. Currently serving as a German and English Language Teacher at the Deutsch-Amerikanisches Zentrum / James-F.-Byrnes-Institut since November 2018, Benjamin has also held positions as a Business English Trainer at Linguarama and as an English and German Teacher at Empire Language Institute. Prior teaching experience includes a role as a TEFL English Teacher where instruction was provided to Czech students. In addition to educational roles, Benjamin has diverse experience in the arts and business sectors, including work as an Art Consultant at Mary Martin Gallery and as a Graphic Designer and Office Manager at Zimmer America Recycling Solutions. Academic credentials include Bachelor of Arts degrees in German Language and Literature and International Relations and Affairs from the College of Charleston.
