Lena Barke

Lena Barke is an accomplished German teacher with extensive experience, currently serving as a German teacher at Linguarama and at EF Education First Teachers, where instruction spans all proficiency levels from A1 to C1. Lena has made significant contributions to various humanitarian organizations, including serving as an honorary member for the Society for Threatened Peoples and Genocide Alert, while also being a founder member of afrikAkzent Media e.V. Previous roles include editing at Deutsche Welle and volunteering on social issues in Nicaragua. Lena holds a Master of Arts in Peace and Conflict Studies from Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg and has a diverse educational background, including degrees in social science, sociology, politics, and law.
